a perfectly preserved bottle of Borgogno Barolo Riserva Canubbi 1947. I have been curious about this bottle for a while now. And tonight was the night. Primary fruit such as Cherrys, cranberry, herbal notes of medicinal, lavender. Secondary aromas of vanilla, oak, liqourice, tertiary aromas of marzipan, toffee, cinnamon, leather and cedar. Almost no oxidative notes.
